Honey Beer Bread is one of the most simple, yet versatile, breads out there. Pair it with something savory, something sweet, or just eat it by itself. It couldn’t be easier, with no yeast required!

Honey + Beer = Bread
Got any spare beers laying around? I know what you’re thinking and trust me, you’re going to want to let one of those bad boys go for this bread. Having some honey beer bread around is one of the best things ever. You can literally put ANYTHING on it, and it works for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! It doesn’t require yeast, so that means it’s not as daunting to make as regular bread, and can be done in a WAY shorter amount of time.

Pour half of the melted butter into the bottom of the loaf pan. Brush it around the edges to grease the pan. Add the batter to the pan in an even layer, and then brush the rest of the butter onto the top of the batter.

tips for making honey beer bread
You can use any beer you’d like! For this recipe I actually used Pabst Blue Ribbon because my husband had some laying around already. You can use an IPA for a stronger beer flavor, however the beer flavor will never really be that strong no matter the beer.
You can definitely freeze this bread. Freeze them in slices for an even easier way to get your honey beer bread fix!
Add in cheese! You can add a cup of cheese to this batter for some tasty cheesy beer bread.
