There is nothing like cinnamon rolls for breakfast. They have always been one of my all time favorite morning treats. Usually I just pop open a can, but sometimes I like to put a little more work into it. Also, is it just me or is popping that can open basically torture? Eyes winced while you squeeze it and wait for the POP! Well, consider this homemade cinnamon roll recipe anxiety-free! You won’t feel anything but zen while you prepare this tasty dish.

how to make puff pastry cinnamon rolls

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Toast the pecans on a baking sheet for about 10-12 minutes, checking to make sure they don’t burn at the end. Finely chop them once they are done baking and set aside (these will go on top).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Combine the brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl. Lightly flour a surface (like a large cutting board), and unfold your puff pastry, making sure the lines are vertical.
