how to make puff pastry cinnamon rolls
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Toast the pecans on a baking sheet for about 10-12 minutes, checking to make sure they don’t burn at the end. Finely chop them once they are done baking and set aside (these will go on top).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Combine the brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl. Lightly flour a surface (like a large cutting board), and unfold your puff pastry, making sure the lines are vertical.

Brush the pastry with half of the melted butter, reserving the rest for the second puff pastry. Leave a 1 inch border.

3. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the butter.

Roll the pastry from bottom to top, ending with the seem side down. Cut into 8 equal pieces. Repeat all above steps with the second sheet of puff pastry.

Arrange evenly on your baking sheet spiral side up. Bake on 350°F for 18-22 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire baking rack.

While your cinnamon rolls are cooling, make the icing. Combine the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until you get your desired consistency.
Top the puff pastry cinnamon rolls with chopped pecans. Drizzle with icing, serve warm, and enjoy!
